Fernando Torres back into a machine goal : Liverpool 3-0 Suderland

LIVERPOOL 3
- Torres 3,
- Johnson 32,
- Torres 60

SUNDERLAND 0

**Fernando Torres‘ third minute strike set the tone for a comfortable and impressive performance for Liverpool as they brushed aside Sunderland at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Fernando Torres opened the scoring after just three minutes with a superb curling shot, that's realy brilliant goal by Spaniard after recovering from injury.

Rumble at Anfield didn't have to wait long for Glen Johnson had made it two. In the 32nd minute when Gerrard's inswinging corner was only cleared to the edge of the penalty area and the defender touched the ball inside on to his left foot and unleashed a shot which took a slight deflection off Turner to beat Gordon.

In the second half the Spain international was not to be denied much longer and on the hour he scored his second goal, which was as simple as his first was brilliant.

Torres scored his seventh goal in four matches, and his 18th in 21 Barclays Premier League appearances, midway through the second half as Liverpool coasted in the latter stages.

This season has shown the confusion of making predictions about Liverpool, but in fact Fernando Torres back into a machine goal.
