WIGAN ATHLETIC 0

**Carlos Tevez scored a hat trick to lead Manchester City to a 3-0 win over Wigan on Monday night.

It was not a great start from the home side as they struggled in the first half to create many chances. Defensively, they did not look great but Wigan were unable to capitalize on their chances.

It would remain a scoreless match until a turning point in the 56th minute. Gary Caldwell would get a red card for a challenge on Carlos Tevez. City would take advantage from that point with three goals in the final 30 minutes.

Tevez’s goals came in the 72nd, 74th, and 84th minute of the match. He now has 19 in 28 matches for Man City in EPL matches this season. Man City are two points back of 4th place Tottenham Hotspur. Wigan are in 16th place and four points clear of 18th place.
