Salomon Kalou score, The Blues lost Petr Cech to injury.

Internazionale 2
- Milito 3,
- Cambiasso 55

Chelsea 1
- Kalou 51

**Its advantage Inter after Jose Mourinho defeated his old side Chelsea 2-1 in a gripping Champions League last 16 first leg at San Siro.

Milito opened the scoring early minute on cutting inside Terry and firing low inside Cech's near post from 10 yards. Eto'o, Sneijder and Motta involved in the build-up.

While Chelsea dominated possession and territory for spells, it was Inter who created the better chances and seemed more stable.

When Chelsea equalised following Salomon Kalou in the San Siro! Great finish from the Ivorian, bending home right-footed from 20 yards after Ivanovic pressed forward inside the right channel and laid off. On second sight it looks like Cesar should have saved. Chelsea can feel aggrieved over another Champions League penalty decision and lost Petr Cech to injury.

The players had notions of their own and Lampard was on the verge of a goal after build-up play by Drogba and Anelka, but his drive was saved by César. This taxing match had stimulated Chelsea and paved the way for an engrossing return.

Whatever is said about the sophistication of Mourinho and Ancelotti, this was not always a night in which a masterplan was being unfurled.
