Australia's Brett Holman scored almost won the kangaroo team, eventually equated because Kewell hans ball : Australia 1-1 Ghana


**Australia's star striker Harry Kewell had been sent off and given away a penalty as the Socceroos went in 1-1 at half time of their Group D show down with Ghana at Rustenberg on Saturday.

Australia's Brett Holman slammed home from close range after Ghana 'keeper Richard Kingson failed to hold a fiery free kick from Mark Bresciano after 11 minutes.

But the real drama unfolded when Kewell, in his comeback match after a long injury lay off, leaned and slightly put an arm out to stop a Jonathan Mensah shot from levelling the scores.

Kewell was furious but had to take the walk for his straight red and then watch Asamoah Gyan score from the spot sending Mark Schwartzer the wrong way.
