**MILAN, March 31 Argentine forward Diego Milito struck in the second half to hand Inter Milan a deserved 1-0 home win over CSKA Moscow in their Champions League quarter-final, first leg on Wednesday.
Milito struck in the 65th minute after linking up with midfielder Wesley Sneijder, but Inter missed chances to score either side of the goal while dominating the game.
Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev kept his side in the match with crucial saves and while his opposite Julio Cesar had little to do he had to react quickly to deny Moscow striker Tomas Necid late on.
However, for much of the match the visitors, very much the underdogs, gave as good as they got, producing two long-range first-half efforts - from Yevgeny Aldonin and Deividas Semberas - that tested Inter keeper Julio Cesar.
Team Line-ups:
Inter Milan: Julio Cesar, Zanetti, Maicon, Materazzi, Samuel, Stankovic, Sneijder, Cambiasso, Eto'o, Milito, Pandev (Mariaga 90)
CSKA Moscow: Akinfeev, Semberas, Ignashevich, Berezutsky, Berezutsky, Shchennikov, Mamaev (Gonzalez 73), Krasic, Honda (Dzagoev 69), Aldonin (Rahimic 75), Necid.
