**Manchester United strolled into the last eight of the Champions League for the fourth successive season with a routine 4-0 victory against AC Milan at Old Trafford that sealed a 7-2 aggregate win.

The first goals for Manchester United re-established themselves and took the lead in the 13th minute. Gary Neville was allowed to advance in the Milan half and sent in an inch-perfect cross for Rooney to outjump Daniele Bonera and head past Christian Abbiati.

Within attacks United have extended their lead, Nani played a superb pass with the outside of his foot to play Rooney in on goal, sprinted down the left and then sent an astute ball towards Rooney, who go to it before Abbiati and rolled under the keeper and into the net from 17 yards.

After half-time after Ji-Sung Park drilled in the third on the hour as United exerted complete control, he to slide the ball past Abbiati into the far corner, the Red Devils went 3-0 up.
