Goals from Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta continued Everton victory in four action.

MANCHESTER CITY 0

EVERTON 2
- Cahill 33,
- Arteta 85

**Everton continued their good run of form to upset Manchester City at Eastlands. Goals from Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta were both on target as fast-finishing Everton snatched a victory that denied City fourth place in the Premier League.

Tim Cahill scored after a neat build-up between Mikel Arteta and Leighton Baines, who provided the cross. Mikel Arteta won a free-kick after being felled by Gareth Barry, and the Spaniard teed up Leighton Baines who’s whipped cross found the head of Cahill with firing narrowly.

Substitute Jack Rodwell burst down the left and turned inside Kompany before pulling back into the box for Cahill, who sensed Arteta rushing behind and dummied for the Spaniard to score.

It was a difficult game because Everton have a good squad but City didn't deserve to lose this game.
