**Tottenham Hotspur traveled to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday, March 20, 2010 to face Stoke City in the English Premier League. Spurs were 4th in the Premier League table heading into the match and likely would need a win to remain in that place by the end of the weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur got a crucial road win to remain in 4th place in the English Premier League on Saturday.

The match was scoreless in the first half but would see three second half goals. Eidur Gudjohnsen would give Tottenham the lead in the 46th minute. It was short lived though as Stoke City leveled the match with a penalty converted by Matthew Etherington in the 64th minute.

With the match tied at 1-1, a goal from Niko Kranjcar would give Spurs the lead in the 77th minute. It proved to be the match winner and puts Tottenham in good position to earn a spot in Europe for next season.
