Manchester City beat Arsenal success with a score of 3-0 landslide. Victory over the Gunners are carried forward to the City Carling Cup semi-final.
In the match in the City of Manchester Stadium on Wednesday (2/12/2009), City created three goals in the second half. These goals each by Carlos Tevez, Shaun Wright-Phillips and substitute Vladimir Weiss.
City tried to suppress at the beginning of the first round.
An opportunity is owned by Emmanuel Adebayor through using his head after Gareth Barry's corner but the ball can still be foiled by Lukasz Fabianski.

Nearing the end of the game City added another goal in the 89th minute. Goal was printed by Vladimir Weiss from close range after a beautiful use of feedback from Bellamy.
Score 3-0 for City last until the long whistle blew. The game is also running a tight and hard that the referee Foy to issue eight yellow cards.
